This one took me a while to figure out and I wanted to show all the sketches I went through over two days, until I finally got to where I wanted this Elf art to go :)

The first sketch. Happy with it, but wanted to push it a bit further.
Wanted something more alien for this take on the elf, but didn't really like the colors I ended up with.
I still like this and might repurpose it. But I just didn't really see an elf in the character.
Wanted something spellcaster-y for the next version, but it became too mystical. Wanted to keep it grounded.
In this one I wanted the elf to protect an animal and its eggs from poachers, but I wanted the elf to be peaceful, instead of frightened as she is here.
Finally I landed where I wanted to go with the piece. Steady, calm, upbeat and appreciative of the world around her.
